BROADWAY’S BEST TO HOST LIVE FLEET WEEK SHOWCASE
for Visiting Members of the Armed Forces

Cast members from some of the best musicals on Broadway will host a special Fleet Week performance for visiting members of the armed forces who are in New York City for Fleet Week on Friday, May 27th from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.

Cast members from “Priscilla Queen of the Desert,” “Sister Act,” “Catch Me if You Can,” “Jersey Boys,” “Chicago,” “Mamma Mia” and “Rock of Ages” are scheduled to sing a selection of songs from their respective shows.  The showcase will be hosted by 2009 Tony Award-winner Greg Jbara.

Fleet Week takes place from May 25-30.  Each year, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum hosts a variety of popular Fleet Week activities and events that includes athletic challenges between groups of visiting members of the armed forces, military displays and demonstrations and a special Memorial Day ceremony.
