APPOINTS MARC LOWITZ AS
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT


NEW YORK, NY
(June 16, 2011) – The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has appointed Marc Lowitz as its new Senior Vice President of Business Development, reporting to Museum President Susan Marenoff-Zausner, effective June 20, 2011.  In the newly-created position, Lowitz will oversee the Museum’s sponsorship, marketing, multi-platform partnerships, licensing and promotional activities.

Lowitz previously worked as Vice President of Business Development at the National Football League (NFL) where he oversaw corporate partnership and sponsorship strategy.  Prior to joining the NFL, Lowitz was President of the Arena Football League (AFL).

“Marc will be a great addition to the Intrepid team,” offered Intrepid President Susan Marenoff. “He will help bring innovative partnerships and relationships to the Intrepid with a goal to extend its brand and programming to new and additional audiences”

Lowitz has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester and a Juris Doctor and Masters of Public Administration from Syracuse University.
