TO PRESENT
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING INTREPID MUSEUM’S BID TO
RECEIVE NASA SPACE SHUTTLE
A group of New York State Assembly Members will present a copy of a recent unanimously passed resolution that supports the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s efforts to secure a decommissioned space shuttle to Susan Marenoff, the Intrepid’s Executive Director, on Tuesday, August 17th, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Intrepid Museum, Flight Deck, 12th Avenue and West 46th Street at Hudson River Park. The members of the NYS Assembly in attendance will be Michael DenDekker (D-Queens), Richard Gottfried (D-Manhattan), Brian Kavanagh (D-Manhattan), Joseph Lentol (D-Brooklyn), Alan Maisel (D-Brooklyn), Grace Meng (D-Queens), Michael Miller (D-Queens), Linda Rosenthal (D-Manhattan), and David Weprin (D-Queens).
Assemblyman DenDekker plans to present the resolution to NASA officials at Cape Canaveral before the end of the month.
