APPRECIATION WEEKEND
Firefighter and paramedic appreciation weekend will come to a boil as chefs from 10 firehouses representing all five NYC boroughs compete in a cook-off to determine who makes the “best chow” for their workers on Saturday, July 17th from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.
Firefighter and paramedic appreciation weekend pays tribute to New York City’s first responders. Throughout the weekend, emergency workers will put on public demonstrations including rescue company rope slides, vehicle extrication and ladder bucket rescuesd.
