Business Development
Manager - Business Development

The Intrepid Museum seeks a skilled, detail-oriented and experienced Manager – Business Development to join our team. This role reports directly to the SVP of Business Development. The Manager of Business Development provides project support to the Business Development Department in order to assist the Museum in monetizing its assets and programs.

Exhibits
Collections Specialist

The Intrepid Museum seeks a highly skilled, detail oriented and motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Collections Specialist. This person will report to the Senior Archivist, and work closely with the Director of Collections and larger Exhibitions Department to ensure the thoughtful care and preservation of the Intrepid Museum’s collections. The Collections Specialist will support all aspects of the Museum’s collecting activities, with special focus on the artifact collection. Major responsibilities include processing and cataloging new acquisitions, documentary photography of artifacts, scanning photographs and other media, rehousing artifacts, inventorying and maintaining item’s storage location, and assisting with exhibit install and artifact display. The Collections Specialist will also take an active role in other departmental projects and activities as assigned.

Group Sales
Group Programs Associate

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking a part/time Group Programs Associate to provide customer service and administrative assistance at the Group Sales entry in the Welcome Center. The Group Programs Associate also implements Group Sales programming as needed. The Group Programs Associate provides a high level of customer service through comprehensive product knowledge and efficient guest relations.

IT
Junior Network Technician

We are seeking a Jr. Network Administrator. The Jr Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the IT systems infrastructure and the management of the IT network. This position is responsible for ensuring that all IT facilities, computer systems and applications achieve and maintain a service level of 99.9% for the Museum. The Jr Network Administrator will adhere to all IT policies and procedures and will work with the Systems Administrator and team members to develop, maintain and adhere to PCI, GDPR, CCPA, IT best practices and provide evidence for audit compliance. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all infrastructure and related systems. The Jr Network Administrator will stay abreast of the latest IT systems technology and serve as a trusted advisor to the Systems Administrator and champion those business initiatives and goals presented by the Museum’s departments.

Project Coordinator

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking a Project Coordinator who is responsible for helping conceptualize and oversee multiple projects within our organization and provide administrative support to the Chief of Staff.

Security
Security Officer

The Intrepid Museum is currently seeking Security Officers to become an integral part of our team to guard the Museum property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

Box Office Representative (Seasonal/Part-Time)

As a vital part of the Visitor Services team, the Part Time/Seasonal Visitor Services Ambassador, Box Office provides the first impression and the last interaction for visiting guests.
