The Interview Process (Round 2)
Once all applications have been assessed, Round 2 begins. A select group of female students will be asked to participate in our Interview process aboard the Intrepid Museum (dates/time to be determined).
The one-on-one interview with a Museum’s Education staff member provides an opportunity to meet the potential campers, ask questions, and get to know each student.
We are excited to know why you chose to apply for Camp G.O.A.L.S. for Girls? Why you like or dislike math and/or science? Have you ever attended a summer camp?, etc. The interview will last for ~10-15 minutes. We encourage the students to maintain a positive and engaging dialogue with the interviewer, complete with questions of her own about the G.O.A.L.S. program.
Next Steps (Round 3)
Once the interview process is complete, Camp G.O.A.L.S. Staff will make the decisions for the new cohort of 2013 summer campers. Potential campers and their parents/guardians are contacted (dates to be determined) as to their acceptance/non-acceptance. |
