| The Intrepid has a long history of staging great performances, and yours could be next! Band, choral and dance performances are open to the public and advertised near the Museum entrance for maximum audience exposure. |

| Performance groups pay regular Museum admission fees, and may choose from a number of other options available to enhance their overall experience. These include: |
- Sound system use and setup (includes one sound technician, microphones, speakers and CD player)
- Electrician (required for any electrical connection)
- Equipment (chairs, music stands and staging)
- Labor (required for any set up)

| The Intrepid also offers opportunities to be involved in its annual “Battle of the Bands” competition. |

Usage of Space
Performance space will be determined by the Museum and approved by the client at time of booking. The performance location will be determined according to availability, other Museum events, needs of the client, specific equipment and/or rentals being used, size of group and purpose of performance. Inclement weather may have an affect on location. The two hour window of your performance time slot includes set up, actual performance and break down time. |

Performance Content
Performance content must be pre-approved by the Museum and must not include any content of a religious, spiritual, preaching or political nature. Performances are monitored by Museum staff and will be stopped if content is deemed offensive or in breach of this agreement and will not be refunded. Groups will be asked to submit a CD or DVD for approval prior to performing at the Museum. |

Battle of the Bands
This annual showcase features bands from all around the country competing for a number of great prizes and the right to be called “Intrepid Museum Band of the Year.” The spirited competition takes place at the Intrepid Museum complex and has included incredible performances every year. To be considered for this competition, please send a DVD of your band to the Group Sales Department at the Intrepid Museum |

Group rates and services are only available with advance reservations. Please make reservations at least two (2) weeks prior to the date in mind (for Monday visits, by Friday at 12:00pm). Reservations made within two (2) weeks of visit must be paid in full upon booking. Arrange your visit now by calling 646-381-5010 during our business hours - Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm for Birthday Parties) or completing our Group Request Form.
