|Tour Guide Talks, Intrepid Museum’s bite sized video tour series, continues with Senior Tour Guide, Michael Miscione and one of the Museum’s “stars,” the A-12 Blackbird.
A-12 Blackbird is in a class of its own. Unlike the other aircraft in the Museum’s collection, that carry bombs, missiles, and other offensive weapons, this feat of innovation is a defensive plane. Equipped with a recon camera high-powered enough to spot a linoleum tile from an altitude of 100,000 feet, Blackbird also boasts amazing getaway skills and travels at Mach 3, faster than a speeding bullet!
