- Develop a disaster plan and decide where you and your family will meet in the event of an emergency.
- Gather emergency supplies - some to keep in your home and others to keep in backpacksin case you must leave your home in a hurry.
- Learn how to keep informed about the hazards you may face in New York City.

- Part of OEM’s coordination competency, this 45 foot long trailer houses communication capabilities, mapping technology and conference area which enables multi City Agency Coordination and Response to an incident.

- The team from the NY Fire Dept will be on hand with giveaways and literature on fire safety.

- Assume the role of an Intrepid fire crew member and learn the measures taken to ensure safety aboard ship in a hands-on lesson on the Discovery Deck in the Exploreum Interactive Hall.
