Inside the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has rolled out the fifth installment in the video series chronicling space shuttle Enterprise’s historic journey to New York City.
In “Part 5,” Intrepid Museum President, Susan Marenoff-Zausner tours the interior of the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, the vessel specially outfitted and responsible for safely ferrying the mated space shuttle Enterprise from Dulles to John F. Kennedy airport on April 27, 2012.
Intrepid Museum will release additional footage leading up to the opening of the Space Shuttle Pavilion on July 19th, 2012.
