Intrepid to Expose the Human Side of Space Shuttle Enterprise
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has rolled out the seventh installment in the video series chronicling space shuttle Enterprise’s historic journey to New York City.
“Part 7” highlights members of both the Intrepid’s Education and Exhibits teams. Since being awarded the space shuttle, these two groups have been working in tandem to achieve a common goal: to enhance the Museum’s story of aviation and space flight in a human way. With the Space Shuttle Pavilion set to open to the public on July 19th, Intrepid looks forward to inspiring tomorrow’s future scientists, engineers, mathematicians and inventors and sharing the story of Enterprise with New York City.
As the Education and Exhibits teams continue to dream up new ways to educate and inspire, another team, Intrepid Museum and NASA, have begun preparations for space shuttle Enterprise’s two day journey by barge-- beginning June 3-- up the Hudson River to her final resting place at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
Intrepid Museum will release additional footage leading up to the opening of the Space Shuttle Pavilion on July 19th, 2012. To view these behind the scenes videos, be sure to subscribe to Intrepid Museum’s YouTube channel, or visit: http://www.intrepidmuseum.org/Shuttle/Gallery.aspx
