Welcome aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, formerly a WWII aircraft carrier. Drawing on the Intrepid’s history, we can think of no better place to learn about buoyancy, life on the Hudson River, naval partnerships with NASA and the history of aviation from its beginnings to the future of the space program.

Intrepid campers, ages 6-13, keep ship-shape by challenging themselves in a variety of outdoor activities, such as, our "Boot Camp", which includes tug-of-war, relay races, knot tying and an obstacle course. Campers enjoy the fresh air and sunshine exploring the newly renovated Pier and Flight Deck. Overlooking the Hudson, we dine on an aircraft elevator, which doubles as a “mess deck”!
