Growler successfully moved to Bayonne, NJ
At 12 noon on Thursday, December 14th the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum’s Growler Submarine was tugged along the same 5-mile route taken by the Intrepid to Bayonne, NJ. The Growler was docked at berth N-2 in the Bayonne Terminal Dockyard after a journey of about 2 hours. The Growler is being brought to Bayonne for safekeeping until the Intrepid Museum reopens in the fall of 2008.
