The Intrepid has a long history of hosting exciting, heroic adventures. Your child’s birthday party could be next! A two-hour birthday party on board the Intrepid will be an experience you and your child will never forget! Birthday party kids get a fun and educational activity led by the Intrepid party hosts. Then you and your guests enjoy a birthday lunch followed by the Grand Finale, a thrill ride on the 4D-X Flight Simulator.

MERMAIDS OF THE SEA PARTY (AGES 3-6)
Come aboard the Intrepid and have a mermaid adventure! Children will listen to a mermaid story and get to decorate their very own replica of a mermaid.

CAPTAIN'S PARTY (AGES 3-6)
Children get to learn a captains role and responsibilities. They will engage in Hands on activities at “All Hands on Deck”, listen to a nautical story and then create and design their own take home 3-D Intrepid model.

• Children participate in a commissioning ceremony using bubbles, and receive a custom certificate.
PILOT"S PARTY (AGES 5-8)
Children learn about a pilot’s role and responsibilities from landing to take off. They also create and design their own planes, and then have an out of this world flying contest.

ASTRONAUT"S PARTY (AGES 5-8)
Children will learn about an astronaut’s role and responsibilities. They will then get to color and decorate their own astronaut suits and learn about the three key elements that make up an official NASA flight suit.

PIRATE"S PARTY (AGES 5-8)
Let your children explore the many hatches of the Intrepid on their very own pirate adventure. Children will participate in a special treasure hunt where “X” marks the spot to a chest filled with treats for each child.

INTREPID TREASURE TOUR (AGES 7-13)
Children explore the “unseen” Intrepid in detail. Visit the Navigational Bridge, take a walk through CIC and explore the British Airways Concorde.

TOP SECRET SPY MISSION PARTY (AGES 7-13)
Let your children learn all the secrets behind the Intrepid and the famous spy plane: Blackbird. Children will learn different codes used throughout the years such as Morse code and Signal Flags, then participate in fingerprinting and code breaking. They will also create their own secret codes to use with their friends.

MILITARY BOOT CAMP PARTY (AGES 7-13)
Experience life as a marine in training. Children will participate in exercises that real marines perform every day such as warm ups, an obstacle course and a tug of war. They will also race up the rock wall to try to beat a real marine’s time!
