After 31 years of defending our world’s freedom, the battle scarred aircraft carrier Intrepid has emerged today as the nation’s premiere museum of patriotism. More than 600,000 American and international visitors each year experience this museum’s rich history of air strikes, torpedo hits, kamikaze attacks, space craft recovery, technological milestones, and America’s long, stormy battle for freedom.
