Museum members are a vital part of the Intrepid’s mission to: Honor our Heroes, Educate the Public and Inspire our Youth. While the museum is ‘on leave’ through 2008, your contribution will go toward exhibit development and expansion, our traveling ‘Intrepid Sails’ educational programs, and other operating costs that will help us bring Intrepid back to New York better than ever.
All memberships purchased while the museum is closed will remain valid for one full year from the date that the Intrepid re-opens to the public.
Current membership benefits are being evaluated, and we plan to add many more over the next two years. Though some may change, member benefits will include:
- Free admission for 2 adults and 3 children at the Family Membership level
- Invitations to exclusive member events
- Membership newsletter
- Priority admission during Fleet Week
- Discounts in the Museum Store
All museum memberships are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Memberships are non-refundable.
