When the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum returns in the Fall of 2008, we will re-open with new and improved event space, exhibits and a beautiful, park-like pier. Inside you will find spaces that can accommodate every type of event, from cocktail receptions to gala dinners, press conferences to all day meetings and concerts to movie screenings.
Facilities range from our 245 seat movie theatre to our Great Hall conference room with its floor to ceiling views of the Hudson River and state-of-the-art art AV capabilities. Sit down dinners accommodating 100 to 1,000 can be staged on the newly renovated Hangar Deck and our Flight Deck offers unparalleled views of the New York City skyline, perfect for cocktail receptions for up to 2,500 guests. Our brand new pier will offer a multitude of event possibilities for up to 6,000 guests.
Our professional and experienced event staff will assist you in all the stages of the event process, from initial planning, managing the actual event, straight through to a seamless breakdown and load out. We have a thorough knowledge of event industry vendors, and have established strong relationships with lighting, design and sound companies, florists, rental and prop companies, as well as full event production companies. Custom-catered by the renowned Restaurant Associates, your event will boast a dynamic combination of elegance and excitement.
