This Holiday season experience the “Humanity Behind the Hardware” at Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
“Humanity Behind the Hardware,” a 90-minute tour, introduces visitors to the history of the USS Intrepid and the men who lived, worked and played aboard her.
With a twenty guest capacity, this tour provides its participants with an in depth look at the Hangar and Flight Decks. A professional tour guide relays tales of Heroism, Ingenuity, Hard Work and of course, a few “inside Intrepid jokes.”
“Humanity Behind the Hardware” grants access to areas of the museum which are off-limits to the general public and shares stories of the museum’s aircraft collection, weather permitting.
Offered daily, “Humanity Behind the Hardware” tours run:
Tuesday through Thursday: 11:10am
Friday: 11:10am, 1:10pm and 3:10pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11:10am, 12:10pm, 1:10pm and 2:10pm
