Join us at the Intrepid Museum for the fourth annual Space & Science Festival on July 23–26! Meet an astronaut, experience the movement of satellites in real time and get a glimpse into the future of space exploration, all during this four-day celebration of science and innovation!
The Space & Science Festival kicks off on Thursday, July 23, with Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the next film in our free Summer Movie Series, shown on the flight deck. Festivities continue on Friday, July 24, with a free Family Astronomy Night. On Sunday, July 26, former NASA astronaut Pamela Melroy, one of only two women who commanded the space shuttle, shares her experiences with journalist Lynn Sherr in our Meet the Pilot event.
Throughout the weekend, enjoy displays and activities by Final Frontier Design, FIRST Robotics, the Intergalactic Travel Bureau and other partners, as well as special Tour Guide Talks and demonstrations by the Museum’s stellar team of educators. More information, including a full schedule, is available now on our website!
