- On the Line: Intrepid in Vietnam, a free curatorial tour about Intrepid’s role in the Vietnam War [details]
Join Jessica Williams, the Intrepid Museum’s Curator of History, for an in-depth look at Intrepid’s role in the Vietnam War at 1pm. On this hour-long tour, she will explore the day-to-day experiences of sailors who served aboard Intrepid in Vietnam. The tour will highlight materials in the Museum’s collections and archives that help us understand this important period in Intrepid’s history. At the conclusion of the tour, participants will visit the Vietnam Memorial Wall to view the names of Intrepid servicemen.
This tour is free with Museum admission. Space is limited and can be reserved upon arrival at the Information Desk.

- Free curatorial tour: Intrepid’s Aircraft and Aviators during the Vietnam War [details]
Eric Boehm, the Intrepid Museum’s Curator of Aviation and Aircraft Restoration, will present a discussion about Intrepid’s aircraft and aviators during the Vietnam War. This tour will take place at 1pm. This hour-long tour will explore not only the aircraft that flew from Intrepid, but the aviators that flew them during the three combat cruises from 1966 to 1968. The tour will begin with the Museum’s A-4B Skyhawk, a genuine veteran of the conflict, and conclude at the Vietnam Memorial Wall. There, visitors will view the names of the Intrepid aviators that made the ultimate sacrifice.
This tour is free with Museum admission. Space is limited and can be reserved upon arrival at the Information Desk.
