EarthCam, the leader in advanced webcam technology, partnered with the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum to deliver a "pilot's-eye" view of the historic flight deck. The unique angle from atop the conning tower mast has been enjoyed by millions around the world live on the Intrepid website.

In 2006, Earthcam was chosen to help document the renovation of the ship and re-construction of its home berth at Pier 86.

Using innovative HD time-lapse system, EarthCam compressed the Intrepid’s nearly two-year project into two minutes - from its departure to dry dock to its triumphant return. Below, you will see samples of the time-lapse archives and digital images.

EarthCam, Inc. is a proud spnosor of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
