The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is joining Autism Speaks’ Light It Up Blue campaign, a global initiative with more over 3,000 iconic landmarks, airports, bridges, sports arenas, museums, concert halls, restaurants as well as retail, corporate and media partners in over 220 U.S. cities and 28 countries that will light up bright blue on World Autism Awareness Day, April 2.

This past Saturday Intrepid hosted a press conference featuring Museum President Susan Marenoff-Zausner, Congressman John Larson (D-CT), retired NASA astronaut Jeffrey Alan Hoffman, Autism Speaks Co-founders Suzanne and Bob Wright, ABC News’ Bob Woodruff, military families, other families and individuals with autism to kick off Autism Awareness Month and World Autism Awareness Day.
