Looking for some fun to do this winter break? The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum has a packed schedule for Kids Week 2014, February 15-23. With different themes throughout the week, each day of Kids Week features unique partners, awesome performances, hands-on activities and so much more.
NASA astronaut Nicole P. Stott will be presenting and signing autographs during Science Meets Science Fiction weekend, while the Rockettes will be teaching a “Heart and Lights Dance Clinic” at 3:00pm on Tuesday, February 18, the day Broadway takes over Intrepid. Additionally, cast members from Cinderella, Matilda and Pippin will perform during the Broadway Showcase at 12:00pm and the Gazillion Bubble Show will take the stage at 2:00pm. |
Safari Adventure day, Wednesday, February 19, includes a World Wildlife Presentation from Animal Embassy at 11:30am, and two Wildlife Theater performances by the Central Park Zoo, at 1:00 and 3:00pm.
Thursday, February 20 is Music Fun Day, which will include a performance of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds at 11:30am, and afternoon shows by The Pop-Ups (1:00pm) and STOMP (2:00pm). On Ports of Call Day, Friday, February 21, visitors can travel the world and participate in activities representing Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Greece, Italy, Japan, France and USA! |
Then, during the final weekend of Kids Week (February 22-23), get active and play with the New York Jets Quarterback Toss, New York Cosmos Penalty Kick, New York Rangers Goal Shooting Alley and Coca-Cola Baseball Toss.
