The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum kicks off its annual celebration of all things kids, Kids Week 2011, this Saturday February 19th.
This year, Kids Week will offer nine days of kid-friendly, thematic programming over the New York City Public Schools’ Winter Break including: Circus Weekend, Puppet Day, Explorer Day from PBS Kids, Broadway Day, Sports & Recreation Day, Fashion & Fun Day and Science Weekend.
The list of exhibitors is impressive, ranging from performances by Ringling Bros to John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean to Broadway’s Rain, Billy Elliot, and The Addams Family.
Science Weekend is scheduled to feature a quirky yet extraordinary line up including: Gotham City Honey Co-Op and Bee Keepers, a Penguin Show, and The Museum of Interesting Things.
Be it Broadway or Bee Keeping, the Intrepid’s Exploreum Hall will be jam-packed with dynamic, interactive exhibits that not only kids, but the whole family will love.
