The Intrepid Museum is committed to offering free, year-round programming to support and celebrate our nation’s veterans, including Intrepid former crew members. Our Veterans Access Initiative is a constellation of educational activities, programs, projects and events designed to build strong social networks and communities for veterans and their families. Its goal is to ease their transition back home, break down perceived barriers and alleviate the challenges of daily life.
We’re raising funds as part of the American Heroes Charity Challenge to support and expand our programming for veterans. The Challenge is a friendly fundraising competition among organizations that serve America’s heroes. The organizations that raise the most money will receive cash donations from the Craig Newmark Philanthropic Fund, with the top fundraiser winning $15,000.
Help us raise money for heroes. We’re almost one-third of the way to meeting our goal!
