On May 24, visitors watched the Parade of Ships from the Museum's pier, marking the start of Fleet Week in New York City. Five Navy vessels, four Naval Academy yard patrol boats, two U.S. Coast Guard cutters, and one ship from the Royal Canadian Navy made their way up the Hudson River.
With the arrival of the ships and our service men and women, the festivities will begin, continuing through Memorial Day. Visit the Intrepid Museum to enjoy a lineup of activities, performances and events on Intrepid and on the pier, including interactive displays, a Broadway showcase, astronaut appearances, science demos, a movie on the flight deck and our annual Memorial Day Ceremony.
