After a one day weather delay, space shuttle Enterprise is set to complete her journey to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

On Wednesday, June 6 at 10:15am, Enterprise will depart her New Jersey port. From there, she will make her way north allowing for what should be historic and spectacular photo opportunities, passing the Statue of Liberty at approximately 10:50am and Ground Zero at 11:30am. We expect good viewing locations to include the west side of Manhattan from Battery Park through the mid 40’s and on the Hudson waterfront of NJ in Jersey City, Hoboken, and Weehawken.

Intrepid Museum invites onlookers to welcome Enterprise home, as she reaches the Museum at approximately 12:30pm. Subsequently, the space shuttle will be lifted from the barge, by crane, on to Intrepid’s Flight Deck. The craning—a four-hour-plus—process will allow only limited viewing from neighboring piers. Intrepid’s Space Shuttle Pavilion, including Enterprise, will open to the public on July 19th.
