Digital Membership Card FAQ's


 

Q Intrepid Museum members now have access to a digital membership card!
A Below, please find answers to some frequently asked questions. If you’re not finding the answer to your question below, feel free to reach out to the Museum’s membership team at membership@intrepidmuseum.org.
 
Q What is a digital membership card?
A The Intrepid Museum now offers digital membership cards, which can be added to your smartphone’s digital wallet. Going digital means you never have to worry about forgetting your membership card, in addition to being more environmentally friendly and helping to reduce administrative costs. After joining or renewing your Intrepid Museum membership, you will receive an email within a week with a link to download your card.
 
Q How do I add the membership card to my iPhone?
A Access the email from your smartphone and click the "Download" button, then click "Add to Wallet" and "Add." The card will automatically go to your iPhone’s Apple Wallet. It can be accessed in Wallet at any time.
 
Q I’d prefer not to use this digital membership card, what should I do?
A Please contact the membership team at membership@intrepidmuseum.org to request a physical membership card.
 
Q I don’t have a mobile phone, what can I do?
A Please contact the membership team at membership@intrepidmuseum.org to request a physical membership card.

Q I have a question about my membership benefits.
A We are happy to help! Email membership@intrepidmuseum.org with your question and we will answer you as quickly as we can.

Q How can I access ASTC reciprocal benefits with my digital card?
A ASTC reciprocal benefits are available to Dual Members and above. Simply show your digital membership card at participating museums to receive free or reduced admission!
 
Q My name is spelled wrong/membership level is incorrect.
A Please contact the membership team at membership@intrepidmuseum.org to let us know. We’re happy to update your digital or physical card for you.

Q My family member is on this membership account also, how can she/he receive the card?
A Yes, for Dual level and above, each member will receive a unique digital membership card via email. If a membership with two members has only one email address on record, then both digital membership cards will be sent to this email address. Members can then forward the email or use the share feature of the wallet app to ensure that their spouse receives their digital membership card.

Q Android
A Navigate to the back of the card (tap on the small "i" on the front) and use the “Share Pass” button to send the card to your secondary member.

Q iOS
A Navigate to the back of the card (tap on the "..." button on the front), then tap on the share icon at the top right to send the card to your secondary member. If you are an iOS user, you will find the share icon at the top right on the back of the card.

Q I downloaded my card but I can’t find it.
A If you have an iPhone, the card will automatically download to Apple Wallet. Check the app for your new card (scroll through any cards that are already there--it may be hiding!). If you have an Android, you’ll need to download Wallet Passes from the Play Store prior to downloading the card.
