The Exploreum is a fully interactive exhibit space in the Museum's hangar deck, designed especially for families and kids of all ages. It is one of the most visited areas of the ship, encouraging visitors to climb in an actual Bell 47 helicopter, navigate through an interactive submarine and steer the wings of an airplane.

The Exploreum has proven to be a big hit with kids and families, as they learn and laugh together. No longer do parents have to merely sit and wait for their kids to be done playing—here, in the Exploreum, they play together! All of the exhibits in the Exploreum are related to Intrepid’s history or the Museum’s educational focus.
