The Education Department provides materials for teachers to use to prepare students for their museum experience, enhance learning after the visit, and to extend learning beyond the one time encounter with the Intrepid.

This guide explores exhibition themes that are linked to the New York City Social Studies Scope and Sequence, providing teachers with a solid background to lead their students through the exhibition during a self-guided visit.

    Click here for a student-centric question sheet that allows students to explore On the Line: Intrepid and the Vietnam War on their own and answer questions based on documents and artifacts in the exhibition. At the end of this packet are essay prompts to assess students’ understanding of the topics they encountered.
