Teen and College Night
If you want to learn about science, history and technology, connect with colleges or if you’re looking for a unique place to hang with friends, the Intrepid Museum offers free events for teens to connect, learn and meet new people. Throughout the school year, the Museum provides teen audiences with science and history programming, mentorship days, college fairs and teen and college nights. See the listings below for information on upcoming programs.
Programs welcome all teens (unless otherwise noted) and are FREE with required registration. Hope to see you there! Contact youthleadership@intrepidmuseum.org for more information.
During these unprecedented times, we cannot predict what will happen with the COVID-19 pandemic in the next few months. We will update the information on this page as often as possible for students to plan their schedules.

Virtual Teen Program: Life Saving STEM
Saturday, April 2 | 11:00am – 2:00pm ET

Participants will learn about the history of resuscitation, modern techniques and how scientific research has contributed to our understanding of the potential to save a life. Intrepid Museum educators will guide an exploration of how the medical departments operated on the USS Intrepid and submarine Growler in a time when life-saving techniques were not as advanced as today. Researchers at NYU Langone Health will present their work in critical care and resuscitation science. Additionally, learn how you can help save a life through a CPR demonstration!
(**Does not include CPR certification)

IN PERSON EVENT: College Fair Day

The Intrepid Museum is excited to bring back our in person College Fair Day! Participants will hear from an influential speaker about curating your journey towards higher learning and career pathways, and are encouraged to attend informative workshops on scholarships, college readiness and more. After the program, participants are free to enjoy the Museum complex for the rest of the day.

We encourage teens/youth (13-17 years old) to attend with an adult chaperone.

Free with advanced registration.
